DES MOINES, Iowa - The Iowa Sports Connection has released their latest Iowa high school boys basketball rankings. Iowa City West (4A), Waverly-Shell Rock (3A) and St. Mary (Storm Lake (1A) continued to hold the top of their respective poll while Mount Vernon and Western Christian (Hull) traded spots at the top of the Class 2A rankings this week.

The next poll will be released on January 8th. Listed below are the rankings in all four classes along with those on our watch list.

haha sure looks like your team deserved to be ranked after that same team in the conference gave you a beat down..shut your mouth and play the game and let the kids play and the rankings will speak for themselves..as they did in this case..keep up the good work ISC! you guys get it right about 99.9% of the time!

Amazing how a team that is 7-0 in their conference gets ranked fourth, yet another team in the same conference is 8-0 and only makes the watch list. It is obvious some things never change, its last year all over again. Tell you what, lets just wait till the 11th of January, and i will eat crow, or you will.
