AAU Basketball Tournaments

Des Moines, IA  - Iowa AAU hosted its first round of basketball tournaments this past weekend. Not only did we have teams from across the State of Iowa we also played host to Coaches Fred Hoiberg and Fran McCaffery. Alumni for Iowa and Iowa State were coaching teams within the tournaments hosted by Metro Basketball.

High school coaches your opportunity to have your teams play within the AAU programs is approaching. Go to www.aauiowa.org to check out the schedule for the upcoming tournaments. There is a tournament for teams to come play AAU basketball in Des Moines even if your team did not make it to Wells Fargo Arena as part of the boys high school championship.

This coming weekend we host the second round of AAU tournaments for boys 2-8 grade. The last weekend in February are the young ladies of Iowa chance to shine. AAU Sports for ALL Forever!
