Des Moines University Offers Free Sports Physicals

_{DES MOINES, Iowa – Each year thousands of our students participate in athletics. All student-athletes that participate in sports in middle school or high school will need a physical. Des Moines University will once again offer free physicals this year for those in need of a sports physical that are from Des Moines Area Schools. The physical includes and EKG and ECHO if necessary to screen for cardiac risks.}

_{The Des Moines University Sports Physical Clinic will be held at the DMU Medical Education Center at 3200 Grand Avenue in Des Moines from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on May 1^st.}

_{Parents will need to consent to the physical but do not need to attend the event. Attached are forms that will be needed to be filled out. If there are any questions or you need more information you can go to www.dmu.edu or you can call 515-271-1374.}
